CBSE Class 10 Date Sheet 2026 has been released with Phase 1 exams from February 17 to March 10. Phase 2 remains optional for improvements, tentatively May-June 2026.​

Exam Overview

CBSE introduced a two-phase system under NEP 2020 for Class 10 board exams 2025-26, conducted offline. Phase 1 covers the full syllabus and is mandatory; Phase 2 allows score improvement in up to three subjects like Science, Mathematics, Social Science, and Languages.​

Phase 1 Schedule

Vocational subjects run from 18 Feb to 6 Mar 2026.

Phase 2 Schedule (Tentative)

Final Phase 2 details expected in March 2026.

Timings and Practicals

Exams start at 10:30 AM after 10:15-10:30 AM reading time, ending 1:30 PM (most papers). Practicals occur in January 2026 (20 marks), school-scheduled with experiments, viva, and projects.
